Duration of the Council

28. Duration of the Council



(1) The Council which is in existence immediately before the Constitution
(Parliamentary Reform) Act 2003 receives the Royal Assent shall exist and
continue until the dissolution or other lawful determination of the Assembly
last elected before that Royal Assent is received.

(2) The Council (other than the Council to which subsection (1) applies) shall
exist and continue until the dissolution or other lawful determination of the
Assembly.
