Number of members of the Council

26. Number of members of the Council



(1) This section and section 27 apply in respect of the first Council to be
elected after the Constitution (Parliamentary Reform) Act 2003 receives the
Royal Assent and each subsequent Council.

(2) The Council is to consist of 40 members who are to be representatives of,
and elected by, the electors of the respective regions.
