CRIMES ACT 1958 - SECT 615
Transitional provision—Transport Legislation Amendment (Hoon Boating and Other Amendments) Act 2009(1) Division 9 of Part I as amended by sections 44 and 45 of the Transport Legislation Amendment (Hoon Boating and Other Amendments) Act 2009 applies only to offences alleged to have been committed on or after the commencement of sections 44 and 45 of that Act.
(2) For the purposes of this section, if an offence is alleged to have been committed between two dates, one before and one after the commencement of sections 44 and 45 of the Transport Legislation Amendment (Hoon Boating and Other Amendments) Act 2009 , the offence is alleged to have been committed before that commencement.
