Definitions

2A. Definitions



(1) In this Act unless inconsistent with the context or subject-matter-

aircraft means every type of machine or structure used or intended to be used
for navigation of the air;

drug of addiction means a drug of dependence within the meaning of the
Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981;





incite includes command, request, propose, advise, encourage or authorize;

Juries Commissioner has the same meaning as in the Juries Act 2000;

legal practitioner means an Australian lawyer within the meaning of the
Legal Profession Act 2004;

motor vehicle has the same meaning as in the Road Safety Act 1986;

Taxing Master means any Associate Judge of the Supreme Court from time to time
carrying out the functions of assessing, settling or taxing of costs in
proceedings in that Court.
