Business Licensing Authority Act 1998 - SECT 11

Delegation by Authority

11. Delegation by Authority

Subject to this Act and to any business licensing Act, the Authority may by
instrument delegate to the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar, any person
employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004 or any person
referred to in section 7(2) any of its powers and functions under this Act or
a business licensing Act except-

   (a)  a power to determine an application made by a person for a licence or
        for permission to be, or continue to be, licensed or to be, or
        continue to be, a director or partner of a licensee or to be employed
        by a licensee despite that person being otherwise ineligible; and

   (b)  this delegation power.
