Regulations

59. Regulations



(1) The Governor in Council may make regulations for or with respect to-

   (a)  prescribing fees or a basis for calculating fees for-

   (i)  access to the Register; or

   (ii) a search of the Register; or

   (iii) the issue of a certificate following a search of the Register; or

   (iv) other services provided by the Registrar;

   (b)  generally prescribing any other matter or thing required or permitted
        to be prescribed or necessary to be prescribed for the purposes of
        this Act.

(2) A regulation may impose a penalty not exceeding 20 penalty units for
contravention of the regulations.



(3) Regulations made under this Act-

   (a)  may be of general or limited application;

   (b)  may differ according to differences in time, place or circumstance;

   (c)  may require the making of a statutory declaration.
