Respondent to give information about principal

41. Respondent to give information about principal



(1) If an adjudication determination has been made under this Part in respect
of a construction contract, the respondent must, on the demand of the
claimant, supply to the claimant a notice in the prescribed form that sets out
the name of any person from whom the claimant may be able to recover the
adjudicated amount or part of the adjudicated amount under this Division.

(2) A person who gives or purports to give a person a notice under this
section knowing that it is false or misleading in a material particular is
guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty of up to 60 penalty units.
