Appointment of review adjudicator

28G. Appointment of review adjudicator



(1) The authorised nominating authority must, within 5 business days after
receiving an application for review, appoint a review adjudicator in
accordance with this section (the review adjudicator) to conduct the review.

(2) A review adjudicator must be a person who is eligible to be an adjudicator
as referred to in section 19.

(3) The authorised nominating authority may not appoint an adjudicator who has
been involved directly or indirectly with the adjudication determination that
is the subject of the adjudication review.

(4) The authorised nominating authority must give each party to the review and
the Building Commission written notice of the appointment of a review
adjudicator.

(5) The notice under subsection (4) must include the date of the appointment.
