Eligibility criteria for adjudicators

19. Eligibility criteria for adjudicators



(1) A person is eligible to be an adjudicator in relation to a construction
contract-

   (a)  if the person is a natural person; and

   (b)  if the person has any qualifications, expertise and experience that
        may be prescribed for the purposes of this section.

(2) A person is not eligible to be an adjudicator in relation to a particular
construction contract-

   (a)  if the person is a party to the contract; or

   (b)  if the person is an employee of a party to the contract; or

   (c)  in the circumstances that are prescribed for the purposes of this
        section; or

   (d)  if the person is in a class of person that is prescribed for the
        purposes of this section.
