Relevant building surveyor to give copies of documents to council

73. Relevant building surveyor to give copies of documents to council



(1) The relevant building surveyor, within 7 days after issuing any occupancy
permit or temporary approval or amending any permit or approval under this
Part, must give to the relevant council a copy of that permit or approval or
amendment and any plans and other documents lodged with the application for
the permit or approval or amendment.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(1A) In addition to the requirements of subsection (1), the relevant building
surveyor, within the relevant prescribed time, must give to the relevant
council a copy of any other prescribed documents relating to the application
for the occupancy permit or temporary approval or the permit or approval.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(2) Any documents lodged with the relevant council under subsection (1) or
(1A) must be accompanied by the appropriate prescribed lodgement fee (if any)
paid to the relevant building surveyor under clause 1 of Schedule 2.
