Amendment of permit or approval

70. Amendment of permit or approval



(1) A municipal building surveyor may amend a permit or approval issued under
this Part-

   (a)  on an application by or on behalf of the owner of the building or land
        concerned; or

   (b)  in any other case, if the amendment is necessary in the public
        interest.

(2) Sections 42 to 48 apply (with any necessary modifications) in relation to
an application to amend an occupancy permit issued under Division 1 as if it
were an application for an occupancy permit under that Division.

(3) Sections 54 to 62 apply (with any necessary modifications) in relation to
an application to amend an occupancy permit issued under Division 2 as if it
were an application for an occupancy permit under that Division.

(4) Sections 66 to 69 apply (with any necessary modifications) in relation to
an application to amend an approval given under Division 3 as if it were an
application for approval under that Division.
