Temporary occupation of buildings

64. Temporary occupation of buildings





(1) A person may, with the approval of a municipal building surveyor or a
private building surveyor appointed under Part 6, occupy on a temporary basis
a building for which there is not or could not be issued an occupancy permit
appropriate to the use of the building.

(2) An approval cannot be given under this section for a use of a building or
part of a building if a building permit requires an occupancy permit to be
issued for that use of the building or part of a building.
