Decision on application for occupancy permit

56. Decision on application for occupancy permit



(1) The relevant building surveyor must decide an application for an occupancy
permit under this Division by-

   (a)  issuing the permit; or

   (b)  issuing the permit with conditions; or

   (c)  refusing the permit.

(2) The regulations may prescribe a time within which the relevant building
surveyor must decide an application for an occupancy permit.

(3) The relevant building surveyor is deemed to have refused an occupancy
permit if the application is not decided within the prescribed time.
