Applications for occupancy permits

41. Applications for occupancy permits



An application for an occupancy permit required by a building permit must be
made to the relevant building surveyor-

   (a)  by or on behalf of the owner of the building or the owner of the land,
        in or on which the building work has been carried out; or

   (b)  if the land in or on which the building work has been carried out is a
        lot of a kind referred to in section 9AA(1) of the
        Sale of Land Act 1962, by the purchaser under a contract for the sale
        of that lot.
