Relevant building surveyor to give copies of permits and documents to council

30. Relevant building surveyor to give copies of permits and documents to
council



(1) The relevant building surveyor, within 7 days after issuing any building
permit under this Part, must give to the relevant council a copy of that
permit and any plans and other documents lodged with the application for the
permit.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(1A) In addition to the requirements of subsection (1), the relevant building
surveyor, within the relevant prescribed time, must give to the relevant
council a copy of any other prescribed documents relating to the application
for the building permit or the permit.

Penalty: 10 penalty units.

(2) Any documents lodged with the relevant council under subsection (1) or
(1A) must be accompanied by the appropriate prescribed lodgement fee (if any)
paid to the relevant building surveyor under clause 1 of Schedule 2.
