BUILDING ACT 1993 - SECT 239
Certificate of Registrar(1) A certificate of the Registrar of the Victorian Building Authority specifying that a person is or is not registered in the Register of Building Practitioners or the category or class of registration of a person or that a certificate of registration has been issued in respect of a person is evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, proof of the matters stated in the certificate.

(2) A certificate of the Registrar of the Victorian Building Authority specifying that a person is or is not recorded in the Register of Building Employees or the class of licence of a person or that a licence certificate has been issued in respect of a person is evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, proof of the matters stated in the certificate.
