Decision on application for building permit

19. Decision on application for building permit



(1) The relevant building surveyor must decide an application for a building
permit by-

   (a)  issuing the permit; or

   (b)  issuing the permit with conditions; or

   (c)  refusing the permit.

(2) The regulations may prescribe a time within which the relevant building
surveyor must decide an application for a building permit.

(3) The relevant building surveyor is deemed to have refused a building permit
if the application is not decided within the prescribed time.
