BUILDING ACT 1993 - SECT 189
Delegation of Minister's functions(1) The Minister may by instrument delegate to the Authority any of the Minister's functions under this Act, other than the Minister's power under section 192A(1).

(2) The Minister may by instrument delegate to any person employed as an executive (within the meaning of the Public Administration Act 2004 ) of the Department, the Minister's power under section 192A(1) or 192B(1).
