BUILDING ACT 1993 - SECT 169A
Representation in relation to domestic building workA person who is not registered in a particular category or class of building practitioner under this Part must not represent or imply that the person is able to carry out domestic building work under a major domestic building contract of a kind authorised by that category or class of registration.
Penalty: 500 penalty units, in the case of a natural person;
2500 penalty units, in the case of a body corporate.
