12. Revocation of other regulations relating to building6



(1) Despite anything to the contrary in any other Act, the Governor in
Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, may revoke any statutory rule
made under any other Act to the extent that it provides for a matter set out
in Part 1 of Schedule 1.

(2) Before a statutory rule which provides for a matter set out in Part 1 of
Schedule 1 is made under another Act, the Minister administering that Act must
refer the statutory rule to the Minister administering this Act for
consideration.

(3) The referral of a statutory rule under subsection (2) is not a condition
precedent to the making of the rule.

(4) A failure to refer a statutory rule under subsection (2) does not affect
the validity or operation of the rule but the rule may be revoked under
subsection (1).
