ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TREATMENT ACT 2008 - SECT 61
Requirement for counsellingS. 61(1) amended by No. 6/2016 s. 21(1)(a).
(1) The Authority may disclose information to a person who makes an application under section 56 only if—
S. 61(1)(a) amended by No. 6/2016 s. 21(1)(a).
(a) in the case of the disclosure of non-identifying information—the Authority has offered the person counselling by a counsellor; or
S. 61(1)(b) substituted by No. 58/2014 s. 13(1), amended by No. 6/2016 s. 21(1).
(b) in the case of identifying information—the Authority has received confirmation under section 67A(3) that the person has received counselling on prescribed matters.
(2) This section applies despite any other provision of this Division.
