Power of inspector to require information or documents

37J. Power of inspector to require information or documents

An inspector who-

   (a)  exercises a power of entry under this Part; and

   (b)  produces his or her identity card for inspection by a person-

may, to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to determine compliance
with this Act, require the person to give information to the inspector, orally
or in writing, to produce documents to the inspector and to give reasonable
assistance to the inspector.
