27. Removal of public officer and vacancy in office



(1) An incorporated association may remove a public officer from office.

(2) The office of public officer of an incorporated association becomes vacant
if the person holding that office-

   (a)  dies;

   (b)  resigns from office in writing addressed to the committee of the
        incorporated association;

   (c)  is removed from office;

   (d)  becomes bankrupt or applies to take or takes advantage of any law
        relating to bankrupt or insolvent debtors or compounds with his or her
        creditors or makes an assignment of his or her estate for their
        benefit;

   (e)  becomes of unsound mind or a person whose person or estate is liable
        to be dealt with in any way under the law relating to mental health;

   (f)  ceases to be resident in this State.
