38. Road Safety Act 1986 not to apply

The Road Safety Act 1986 and regulations under that Act do not apply to or in
relation to a vehicle or its driver while the vehicle is being driven-

   (a)  in a Formula One event; or

   (b)  with the approval of the Minister administering this Act, within the
        declared area in respect of a year during the race period in respect
        of that year for the purpose of providing services in respect of a
        Formula One event.
