ANGLICAN CHURCH OF AUSTRALIA CONSTITUTION ACT 1960 - SECT 6

The Act No. 797 of the Parliament of Victoria and all other Acts, proclamations, regulations, orders in council, rules and by-laws made by or under the law of Victoria and all grants, deeds, wills and other instruments and all canons, rules and resolutions of the General Synod within the meaning of the Constitution having effect in Victoria and all Acts, rules, regulations and resolutions of the Synods of the several dioceses in the State of Victoria shall as from the commencement of the Anglican Church of Australia Constitution (Amendment) Act 1977 be read and construed as if for any reference to the "Church of England and Victoria" or "United Church of England and Ireland" or " Church of England in Australia" or any other words or name meaning the Church of England in Victoria or the United Church of England and Ireland in Victoria or the United Church of England and Ireland or the Church of England in Australia there were substituted a reference to the Anglican Church of Australia so far as it is in Victoria.
