ANGLICAN CHURCH OF AUSTRALIA CONSTITUTION ACT 1960 - SECT 2

The provisions of this Act and of the Constitution and of any canon or rule made under the Constitution shall have full force and effect notwithstanding anything in the Church of England Act 1854 :

Provided that this section shall not prejudice or affect the previous operation of the said Act or any proceeding matter or thing lawfully done or suffered under the said Act before this Act comes into operation.
