Extent to which functions are conferred

33. Extent to which functions are conferred



(1) This Act does not purport to impose any duty on a Commonwealth body or
person to perform a function if the imposition of the duty would be beyond the
legislative power of the Parliament of the State.

(2) This section does not limit the operation of section 35 of this Act or
section 6 of the Interpretation of Legislation Act 1984.
