Functions of the Board

21. Functions of the Board

The functions of the Board are-

   (a)  to assess and determine applications for payment made under this Act;
        and

   (b)  to approve forms for the purposes of this Act; and

   (c)  to issue certificates in respect of applications for payment made
        under this Act; and

   (d)  as the Board thinks fit, to conduct proceedings in respect of
        applications for payment made under this Act; and

   (e)  as requested by the Attorney-General, to advise, or submit a report
        to, him or her on any matter relating to the operation of this Act;

   (f)  to exercise and discharge any other powers, authorities, duties,
        functions or obligations conferred or imposed on it by or under this
        Act.
