Advisory functions

63A. Advisory functions



(1) The Convenor of the Medical Panels-

   (a)  must advise the Minister in relation to any matter referred to the
        Convenor by the Minister; and

   (b)  may advise the Minister in relation to the operation and procedures of
        Medical Panels.

(2) The Convenor of the Medical Panels may constitute a Medical Panel
consisting of such number of members as the Convenor considers appropriate,
for the purpose of providing a report to the Convenor of the Medical Panels in
respect of any matter referred to the Convenor of the Medical Panels under
subsection (1)(a).
