Full-time Director and Chief Executive

25. Full-time Director and Chief Executive



(1) The Governor in Council must appoint a full-time Director of the Board,
who is to act as Chief Executive of the Authority.

(2) The affairs of the Authority are to be managed and controlled by the Chief
Executive in accordance with the policies of the Board.

(3) Any act, matter or thing done in the name of, or on behalf of, the
Authority, by the Chief Executive is to be taken to have been done by the
Authority.

(4) The Chief Executive is entitled to be paid-

   (a)  such remuneration as is specified in the instrument of appointment or
        as may be fixed from time to time by the Governor in Council; and

   (b)  such travelling and other allowances and expenses as may be fixed from
        time to time by the Governor in Council.

(5) The terms and conditions of the appointment of the Chief Executive include
those contained in any instrument of appointment.
