Right to apply for settlement

115A. Right to apply for settlement



(1) A worker to whom this Subdivision applies may apply for the settlement of
his or her entitlement under this Act (other than section 99) with respect to
the injury.

(2) The application must be made in accordance with Subdivision 5.

Note Although this Subdivision is intended to come into operation on the day
after the Accident Compensation (Amendment) Act 2001 receives the Royal
Assent, section 119(3) will have the effect of delaying the application
process under this Subdivision. The process can be delayed from starting until
a date that can be no later than 1 July 2002.
