AGRICULTURAL AND VETERINARY CHEMICALS (CONTROL OF USE) ACT 1992 - SECT 69
Infringement notices(1) An authorised officer may serve an infringement notice on a person whom the authorised officer believes has committed a prescribed offence, requiring that person to pay the penalty prescribed for that offence.
S. 69(2) substituted by No. 32/2006 s. 94(Sch. item 1(1)).
(2) An offence referred to in subsection (1) for which an infringement notice may be served is an infringement offence within the meaning of the Infringements Act 2006 .

(3) The penalty prescribed for an offence must not exceed 5 penalty units.
