    (1)     All registrars of the Magistrates' Courts may for the purposes of this Part administer oaths and and affirmations and take statutory declarations.

    (2)     In the absence of a registrar of the Magistrates' Court applicants under this Part may be sworn or affirmed and execute any necessary documents before an authorised affidavit taker within the meaning of the Oaths and Affirmations Act 2018 .
