55. If no next of kin etc. Crown to take

With regard to the estate of any person escheat to the Crown for want of heirs
shall be abolished and in default of any person taking under the foregoing
provisions the residuary estate shall belong to the Crown as bona vacantia and
in lieu of any right of escheat which might formerly have existed.
