14. Rights and duties of executor or administrator with respect to real estate

Subject to the provisions of this Act or of any other Act the executor or
administrator of any deceased person shall have the same rights and be subject
to the same duties with respect to the real estate of such person as prior to
the first day of January One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three
executors or administrators had or were subject to with respect to personal
estate.
