Auditing standards

13. Auditing standards





(1) Standards made by the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board under section
336 of the Corporations Act or formulated by that Board under section 227B of
the ASIC Act, as in force from time to time, must be applied, as appropriate,
in the performance of functions and exercise of powers in relation to audits
or performance audits under this Act.

(3) The Auditor-General may apply additional auditing standards, not
inconsistent with the standards referred to in subsection (1), to the conduct
of audits under this Act.

Note These additional standards must be summarised in the Auditor-General's
annual report-see section 7B(2)(f).
