ADOPTION ACT 1984 - SECT 69V
Effect of recognition of adoption under this PartSubject to section 69W, if the adoption of a child is recognised under section 69U, then, for the purposes of the laws of Victoria, the adoption has the same effect as an adoption order under this Act [5] .
