Report on person who wishes to adopt a child in a Convention country

69J. Report on person who wishes to adopt a child in a Convention country



(1) If a person-

   (a)  wishes to adopt a child in a Convention country; and

   (b)  is on the register of approved persons kept under section 13A by the
        Secretary or the principal officer of an approved agency-

the State Central Authority or an accredited body must prepare a report that
complies with article 15 of the Hague Convention.

(2) The State Central Authority must send each report prepared under
subsection (1) to the Central Authority of the Convention country.
