Evidential value of adoption compliance certificate

69G. Evidential value of adoption compliance certificate

Subject to section 69I, an adoption compliance certificate is evidence, for
the laws of Victoria, that the adoption to which the certificate relates-

   (a)  was agreed to by the Central Authorities of the countries mentioned in
        the certificate; and

   (b)  was carried out in accordance with the Hague Convention and the laws
        of the countries mentioned in the certificate.
