16. Special Investigations Monitor may report on breaches

If, as a result of an inspection under this Division of the records of the
Office of Police Integrity, the Special Investigations Monitor is of the
opinion that a member of staff of the Office of Police Integrity has
contravened-

   (a)  a provision of the Commonwealth Act; or

   (b)  a requirement referred to in section 9C(1)(a) or (b)-

the Special Investigations Monitor may include in his or her report on the
inspection a report on the contravention.
