Power to purchase or to transfer records for safe-keeping

15. Power to purchase or to transfer records for safe-keeping



(1) The Keeper of Public Records may, out of moneys lawfully available for the
purpose, purchase any record which in his opinion is worthy of preservation.

(2) The owner of any record worthy of preservation may, with the consent of
the Minister and subject to any terms and conditions agreed upon by the owner
and the Minister, transfer the record to the custody of the Keeper of Public
Records for safe-keeping.
