PARLIAMENT OF VICTORIA A BILL to amend the Transport Accident Act 1986 and for other purposes. Transport Accident (Further Amendment) Act 1999 The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows: 1. Purpose The purpose of this Act is to amend section 60 of the Transport Accident Act 1986. 2. Commencement 5 This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent. 1 532177B.I1-23/3/99

 


 

Transport Accident (Further Amendment) Act 1999 s. 3 Act No. 3. Amendment to section 60 No. 111/1986. Reprint No. 5 In section 60(1) of the Transport Accident Act as at 19 May 1986 for paragraphs (b) and (c) substitute-- 1998 and subsequently "(b) if the person, during the period of one month amended by Nos 78/1997, 5 preceding the accident, was engaged mainly 15/1998, in housekeeping duties or the care of a child 46/1998, 52/1998 (as and did not receive salary or wages in amended by respect of those duties or that care, the 101/1998), 57/1998 and reasonable costs incurred after the accident 73/1998. 10 in employing, during the first five years after the death or injury, an authorised person to undertake in Australia housekeeping duties or care of the child, but not exceeding 40 hours per week; and 15 (c) in the case of a person who is injured, the reasonable costs incurred after the accident in employing an authorised person to provide in Australia services of a domestic nature or services relating to nursing and attendance 20 but not exceeding 40 hours per week, less the amount paid under paragraph (b); and". 2 532177B.I1-23/3/99
