Superannuation Amendment Bill 2009
A Bill for an Act to amend the Parliamentary Salaries and
Superannuation Act 1968 and for other purposes.
The Parliament of Victoria enacts:
1 Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to amend the
Parliamentary Salaries and Superannuation
Act 1968 to limit the increase in the salary
5 payable to members of the Parliament of Victoria
for the financial year beginning 1 July 2009
to 2·5%.
2 Commencement
This Act comes into operation on 1 July 2009.

4 Repeal of amending Act
This Act is repealed on 1 July 2010.
15 Note
The repeal of this Act does not affect the continuing operation of
the amendment made by it (see section 15(1) of the Interpretation
of Legislation Act 1984).
