A Bill for an Act to repeal certain spent Acts.
The Parliament of Victoria enacts:
1 Purpose
The main purpose of this Act is to repeal spent
Acts.
2 Commencement
5 This Act comes into operation on the day after the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
3 Repeal of Acts
The Acts listed in Schedule 1 are repealed.
4 Amendment of Road Safety Act 1986
10 The Road Safety Act 1986 is amended as set out
in Schedule 2.

5 Repeal of repealing Act
This Act is repealed on the first anniversary of
the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Note
5 The repeal of this Act does not affect the repeals or amendment
made by it (see section 15(1) of the Interpretation of Legislation
Act 1984).

Section 4
AMENDMENT OF ROAD SAFETY ACT 1986
After section 103(11) insert--
5 "(11A) This Act as amended by section 9 of the
Road Safety (Further Amendment) Act
1991 applies only to offences committed on
or after the commencement of section 9.
(11B) The re-enactment by subsection (11A) of
10 section 18(1) of the Road Safety (Further
Amendment) Act 1991 does not affect the
operation of any Act enacted after the Road
Safety (Further Amendment) Act 1991.".
