A BILL
to amend the Hire-Purchase Act 1959 and for other purposes.
Hire-Purchase (Amendment) Act 2000
The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to amend the Hire-
Purchase Act 1959 to extend the application of
sections 24 and 25 of that Act to hire-purchase
5 agreements for farm machinery and connected
agreements entered into before 1 July 2003.
2. Commencement
This Act comes into operation on the day after the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

Reprint No. 4
for "within 2 years after the commencement of

Purchase (Further Amendment) Act 1997 but
before 1 July 2003".
