A BILL
to amend the Fair Trading Act 1999 to further regulate telephone
marketing.
Fair Trading (Telephone Marketing)
Act 2005
The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to amend the Fair
Trading Act 1999 to further regulate telephone
marketing.
2. Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day after the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

In section 67C (c)(ii) of the Fair Trading Act
1999 for "8.00 pm" substitute "5.00 pm".
