HOME MISSION FUND ACT 1988 (BALLARAT DIOCESE)

HOME MISSION FUND ACT 1988

1. The capital of the Home Mission Fund (hereinafter described as the Fund) of the Diocese of Ballarat shall consist of the existing capital of such Fund and of donations and bequests to such capital which may hereafter be made.

2. The income of the Fund shall consist of donations and subscriptions and of Church collections as hereinafter provided and of the interest derived from the Capital Fund.

3. The income of the Fund shall after payment thereout of all expenses of and incidental to and attending the administration of the Fund be added to the income of the Central Diocesan Fund and applied for purposes of Home Mission work.

4. The Fund shall be administered by the Bishop-in-Council who shall cause to be prepared yearly an audited statement of accounts for the previous financial year and shall Present the same to next ensuing session of Synod.

5. All investments shall be made in the name of The Ballarat Diocesan Trustees and in accordance with The Ballarat Diocesan Trustees and Powers of Investment Act.
