A Bill for an Act to adopt a Canon of the General Synod
of the Anglican Church of Australia

GENERAL SYNOD
‘HOLY ORDERS, RELINQUISHMENT AND DEPOSITION CANON 2004’
ADOPTION ACT 2005

Be it enacted by the Bishop and the Clergy and the Laity of the Anglican Church of Australia in the Diocese of Ballarat duly met in Synod according to law as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the ‘General Synod ‘Holy Orders, Relinquishment and Deposition Canon 2004’ Adoption Act 2005’

2. The Synod hereby adopts the Canon of General Synod set forth in the Schedule of this Act.
