GENERAL SYNOD 'THE ASSISTANT BISHOPS' CANON 1966' ADOPTION ACT 2001 (BALLARAT DIOCESE)

A BILL FOR AN ACT NO. 1, 2001

A Bill for an Act to adopt 'The Assistant Bishops' Canon 1966'
of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia.

GENERAL SYNOD 'THE ASSISTANT BISHOPS' CANON 1966'
ADOPTION ACT 2001

Be it enacted by the Bishop the Clergy and the Laity of the Anglican Church of Australia in the Diocese of Ballarat duly met in Synod according to law as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the 'General Synod 'The Assistant Bishops' Canon 1966' Adoption Act 2001'.

2. The Synod hereby adopts the 'The Assistant Bishops' Canon 1966' of the General Synod set forth in the Schedule of this Act.

I, Robin Gray Mitchell, Registrar, do certify that this Act was passed by the Synod of the Diocese of Ballarat on 19 May, 2001.
