(1)  The repeal of the regulations specified in Schedule 1 that, but for this section, was to have been effected on 1 January 2002 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 is postponed until 1 January 2003.

(2)  Subsection (1) does not apply so as to prevent the repeal of any regulations specified in Schedule 1 at any time before 1 January 2003.
